Dr. Stortzum grew up in Central Illinois,
surrounded by dogs, cats and cattle. She
attended the University of Illinois not only for her
undergraduate studies in Animal Sciences, but
also for veterinary school. After graduating in
2003, she spent 2 years in private day practice
before joining the Animal Emergency Clinic team
in 2005. Dr. Stortzum enjoys spending time with
her 4 dogs (all Labs), horseback riding, aerobics
and reading.
Dr. Eisold entered Veterinary Medicine as a
second career. After graduating form the
University of Illinois College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1998, she began working for an
Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Bloomington,
IL. Dr. Eisold has several 4-legged family
members, including 4 dogs and 5 cats. While
not in the hospital, she has many hobbies,
including reading, cooking, Yoga, Hiking and
studying to become a Master Naturalist.
Teresa grew up in East Central Illinois, starting out very early
with an interest in Veterinary Medicine. She gained
important experience in various veterinary clinics prior to
attending Illinois State University, earning a BS in
Agriculture/Animal Sciences. She joined and emergency
facility during college and found it to be her prefered area of
interest. Besides working, Teresa enjoys spending time
with her family, birds, cats and dogs. Teresa has a
particular interest in showing her Rhodesian Ridgebacks
throughout the United States and Canada.
Jessica grew up on a small farm in Central Illinois. She
found a particular interest in animals. She earned a
Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture from Murray
State University in Murry, KY. Jessica moved to
Champaign to join our team and pursue her interests in
emergency medicine. When not at work, she enjoys
spending time with her 2 cats and 3 dogs, as well as
scrapbooking, hiking and watching movies.
